Smart Fishfarm

The Smart Fishfarm is a tailor-made solution designed for breeding salmon in fully exposed offshore locations. This facility is dimensioned to accommodate up to 24 development concessions or to host 3.2 million salmon with a biomass capacity of more than 12,000 tons.

The fish farm is designed to operate in harsh environments, capable of withstanding 100-year design sea states with significant wave heights exceeding 16 meters.

The concept incorporates innovative solutions that advance traditional fish farming techniques, focusing on technical enhancements, fish welfare, and the arrangement of the farming unit. It has been further developed to endure fully exposed offshore environments, resisting the impacts of wind, waves, and sea currents.
